Translation of the original German description (http://www.peter-wiegel.de/Fridolin.html): This calligraphic blackletter was published by the Pelikan factories in Hannover in the instruction booklet Skriptol, a guide to the art of writing EW Baule. In this booklet from the 1930's, calligraphic writing with a fountain pen was introduced. In the booklet comprehensive 20 pages there are a number of heading styles that I will gradually digitize. Of course, if necessary, expanded to a complete font. The printed font styles are drawn by Baule with the fountain pen and I hereby decided to maintain the slight irregularities of the handwritten font. Please donate if you like the font!
